As adventure tours are becoming more and more popular in Myanmar, trekking in Myanmar is one activity that shouldn’t be missed. In Myanmar, hill tribes are still living according to their traditional customs and tourists rarely visit them. There are many places in Myanmar for trekking tours especially in the mountainous regi?n. The under mention tour program is just an example itinerary, for your trip you can customize or design your own itinerary.

Trekking Around Kalaw -Taryaw Trekking (Day Return)

Trekking to Taryaw village takes approximately 2 ? hours from the starting point near Kalaw for one way. This village is situated about 9 km north east of Kalaw and, Palaung people live in this village. In this village you can see the Palaung ladies with their traditional costumes,tealeaf plantations and the making of cheroot rapings using cordial leaves baking them on the oven. The best part of this village is to see the Palaung traditional Long Houses where 6 to 7 families are living together.


Trekking Around Kalaw - Pein Ne Bin Trekking (Day Return )

Trekking to Pein Ne Bin village takes approximately 1 hour from the starting point near Kalaw for one way.The Palaung people live in this village and you can see them with colorful traditional costumes.
 

Trekking Around Pindaya -Yazagyi Trekking (2 Days/ 1 Nights)

 Day – 1

We begin Trekking to Ye-ni village to enjoy the culture and nature of the Danu tribes takes an hour approximately, and we then continue for another hour and a half to See-kya-in. This is also a Danu tribes village. We Then continue to Ya-za-gyi village where Palaung tribes live and this route also takes an hour. For the people who are not tired,they can continue to the top of Ya-za-ghi
mountain (8000 ft) and stay overnight at the Monastery.

Day 2.

We begin trekking for one hour to Lin-lay-in village .We then continue one and a half hours to Taunbawgyi village where the
Danu tribes live. We then continue for two hours to Pindaya.


Trekking Around Kyaing Tong (4 Days / 3 Nights)

Day 1

 In the evening we arrive to Kyaing Tong and visit U Mulein Da's Shan Lacquerware Works, Wan Pon "Shan" Village, the Shan houses, Wa Peoples village and the hand made powdered firearms.

Day 2

 In the morning trek to Yan-Law "Khun" peoples village, PalaungVillage, Kat-Tauk villaje and Pin-Tauk "Lahu" village. ? Hiking to see "Akha people and rare "Ann" people is also made. In the afternoon we visit the Pin-Tauk Waterfall. We will do some sightseeing around the Naung Tong Lake and take photographs with the lake view. Overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day 3

In the morning we will visit Kyaing Tong Bazaar and meet multi hill tribes. We will hike to Hokyin "Akha" people villages. We will observe traditional Yan-gone Pottery Work. We will be Visiting the RCM Church,from an old Italian Missionary. We will Visit the Akha Centre Village and Weaving Works where traditional clothes are made before exporting them to Thailand. We will enjoy the "Lan Woan" dances in Loi-Lone village with the "Khunbeautiful girls dressed with their traditional clothes. Overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day 4

Leisure until the transfer to the airport for departure.
