Yangon - Twante - Yangon
Day. 1: Yangon
Meet with our guide on arrival at the Yangon
International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Today's
sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city
center, the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years
and the Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Public Holidays
& Mondays). Then proceed to Chauk Htat Gyi, a huge reclining
Buddha image, followed by a photo stop at the Karaweik Hall
royal floating barge. An extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda,
one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments will
conclude the tour of this picturesque Garden City. The
golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its
base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Accommodation

Day 2. Yangon-Twante-Yangon
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the
jetty on Strand Road and board ferry across Yangon River.
Arrive at Twante, a small village specialized in traditional
pottery and visit by horse cart the village including the
local market and a ceramics making area where more than
twenty family workshops produce ceramic pots using century
old methods. Return back to the jetty by car and by ferry
back to Yangon. Accommodation at the Hotel, in Yangon.
Day 3. Yangon Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Yangon
International Airport for your departure flight.
